Scrambled Eggs- 6pk
The Scrambled Egg is another cousin to the Sucker Spawn and Blood Dot. This fly originated as a Great Lakes steelhead and trout fly but takes selective trout wherever they feed on eggs (everywhere).
This pattern is more of an "attractor egg" making them the perfect match for a natural midge or nymph trailer during winter and early spring conditions. During high water and in run-off these can be deadly when matched up with a classic San Juan worm.
Tied on 2XH Dia-ichi scud hooks with just the right amount of GloBug yarn for natural buoyancy and transparency.
