Guide's Euro Nymph Kits *NEW for 2021*
Tactical nymphing, Czech nymphing, Euro nymphing, tight-line nymphing, high-stick nymphing, Indy nymphing, competition nymphing..... Whatever you choose to call it, barbless, tungsten nymphs are the core of modern nymphing tactics. And we all know what the "experts" say, 80% of a trout's diet comes from the bottom. Guide Flies signature nymphs get down fast and have the special triggers that consistently put big trout in the net.
Our unique background in fly design, guiding and competitive angling gives our flies a hybrid style that is often imitated. We use only the best hooks and highest quality beads and materials to design our nymphs. The threads, dubbings, wires, tinsels, and synthetics are sourced from Semperfli in the UK.
We also to keep things simple for you on the water. We build each fly and kit to cover every nymphing situation and work in tandem. A custom Guide Flies Euro Nymph kit is the best guarantee that you will have exactly the right flies for any riffle, pocket, or pool. These flies work great with a long 10'-11' nymphing rod and sighter leader or under a traditional indicator.
Each kit includes a variety of the most modern, competition inspired nymphs in our arsenal. These designs were developed over many years and until now only available as custom orders from Dave McKenna. Since Dave is packing the orders, let us know if you have any special requests at checkout!

Guide Tip: Nymphing 101
The next lesson we took directly from the competition and European nymphers. Ditch the lead split shot for tungsten beads and get ready for a whole new sensation. Adjust flies by weight to achieve bottom contact and natural drift. You will feel every stick, stone and trouts mouth. Our jig hooks and slotted tungsten beads are the perfect anchor flies to roll over the bottom and hook each trout in the top jaw, right on the button!
